Good luck to the boys and girls basketball teams as they travel to Clearbrook today. Bus leaves at 4:30 p.m. Boys JV will play at the community center at 6:00 p.m. followed by the girls JV at 7:30 p.m. Girls’ varsity will play at high school at 6:00 p.m. followed by the boys’ varsity at 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday the 8th-grade boys will be playing FIRST at 4:45 in the high school gym in Newfolden. The 7th grade will play after in the elementary school across the street.
There will be senior high Knowledge Bowl practice tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m. in the FACS room. There is also a meet tomorrow.
This week is Snowfest Week – February 10-14th – here are the dress-up days: Tuesday – Hawaiian Day – dress in beach attire and channel those warm-weather vibes; Wednesday – Idol/Teacher day – dress as your idol or favorite teacher; Thursday – Spirit Day: Wear as much RED, WHITE AND BLUE as you can; Friday – Valentine’s Day – wear red, pink and hearts. MUST FOLLOW ALL SCHOOL DRESS CODE RULES!
Sign up for the Snowfest Dance is now in the office. You must sign up any guests that will be attending the dance, one guest per Win-E-Mac Student. Sign up is over at noon on Wednesday, February 12.
The Win-E-Mac Music Department will be having baked potato fundraisers on February 14th and on February 17th barbeques will be served from 5:00- 6:30 during the boys’ and girls’ basketball games. For $5 you get a baked potato, lemonade, and a baked good. All proceeds will go to the Nashville/ Memphis music trip. On February 17th you will get a barbeque, lemonade and baked goods for $5.
If your grade is participating in the Lip-Sync / Dance Competition on Friday, you MUST send a representative to Ms. Bakken by WEDNESDAY AT NOON to confirm your participation. Please remember that performances must be previewed before Friday. If you know your grade is not competing, please let Ms. Bakken know that as well. We will cancel the competition if enough grades do not participate or meet these deadlines.
The senior class will be taking their official class picture on Thursday, February 20th at 11:00 in the art and events center. Seniors please get your beauty sleep, comb your hair and bring senior clothing/gray clothing. We will also be taking senior superlatives pictures that week (Feb 18-21st). If you want to be in the pictures, you need to be here!
Lunch today will be Italian dunker, tomato soup or marinara sauce, cooked carrots, fruit, and milk choice. Breakfast on Wednesday will be muffin and yogurt, or cereal and cheese stick or uncrustable. Lunch on Wednesday will be chili, cheese buns, fruit, and milk choice.
