Parent Teacher Conferences have been changed from October 8 to Wednesday, October 21 from 1:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 8th will now become a full school day for staff and students. School will be dismissed at 12:30 on Wednesday, October 21. Parent Teacher Conference format will be conducted virtually or by phone. Further information will be coming out from the school or your child’s teacher.

If 7th and 8th-grade volleyball players are distance learning tomorrow, they may need to leave class a little early to get to the school in time to take pictures. The 8th-grade team picture is at 3:00 pm.
Good luck to the junior high volleyball teams as they host Mahnomen-Waubun here today – game time is 4:30 p.m.
Pictures for the red group of High school and PREK will be TODAY starting at 12:30 p.m. Please remember that we do not have change in the office for your pictures, please make sure that you bring exact change or write a check.
Seniors – I need a senior picture of you for the Senior Composite – IT NEEDS to be A HEADSHOT WITH NO PROPS. If you have them digital – please send to my email, you can give your photographer my email address kplante@wemschools.org. I have not set a deadline for the date that I need your senior picture as of yet.
Sports pictures will also be taken TODAY starting after school. Picture forms may be picked up in the office on the front counter.
Drivers Education Classroom instruction will begin on Monday, October 19th from 3:15-6:00 p.m. in Mr. Ian Hanson’s room. The dates of the class are October 19, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30 November 2, 3 and the 5th will be a make-up day. Students are expected to complete 30 hours of required instruction. Cost is $60 and should be sent in with the registration form by Wednesday, October 14th. Students enrolled in Drivers Education need to be 15 years old by June 1. Notice that there will be no classes on Wednesdays. Students will follow their usual RED/BLUE days of school. When it is your day to be in school you will be in person for the classroom portion. When it is your day to be home, you will join through zoom. Please pick up forms in the office.
Homecoming for elementary will be October 26-30 and homecoming for the high school will be October 26-30 and November 2-6 (this is so students can do all dress up days in high school – this will make sense once we send out the dress up days).
Lunch today will be fiestada pizza, fresh vegetables, fruit and milk. Breakfast on Tuesday will be muffin, yogurt, juice and milk. Lunch on Tuesday will be sub sandwich, baked chips, fresh vegetables, fruit and milk.
