Knowledge Bowl 2021
Knowledge Bowl had a whole new look this year! Due to COVID 19, Knowledge Bowl in person was not possible, so early in the school year the organization that runs the Knowledge Bowl program in Minnesota began to explore options. After much research and trial and error it was decided that Knowledge Bowl 2021 would be done virtually using a messaging platform called Discord, which allows players from all over the state of Minnesota to compete both from their individual school or from home if they are distance learning.
Win-E-Mac was able to have a complete season with 6 regular meets and a sub region competition. Because we were one of the top 9 teams at the sub region meet Win-E-Mac advanced to the Regional Competition which was held on March 10. Members of the 2021 Knowledge Bowl team are: Seniors Gavin Haskett, Alex Jacobson, Delvin Morel, Reed Neubert and Noah Ostenaa, Juniors Anton Hickman and Teagan Paulson and Sophomores Kallie Hand, Jayden Gensburger and Nadelly Neubert. Congratulations to Alex Jacobson who was named All-Region and to Gavin Haskett who was named Honorable Mention All-Region.
The Knowledge Bowl team would like to especially recognize Delvin Morel who took over the daunting task of operating the Discord program during all of the meets.
