There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 21, 2022, due to President’s Day.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday, February 24th, from 1:00-7:30 p.m. Students will be dismissed from school at 12:30 p.m. – busses will run shortly after that.

There is a signup sheet available in the office to sign up for the After Prom Party. Please sign up by March 1. Be present 10:45-3:00 am. There is a $20 fee for each attendee. Junior class must sell 5 calendars to be eligible for large prizes. Junior class fee waived for selling 10 calendars. No Re-entry! No Drugs! No alcohol!

Good luck to the girls’ basketball teams as they travel to RLCC today – the game is in Oklee.
Good luck to the boys’ basketball team as they travel to LaPorte. This is a varsity ONLY game.
Orange Day will be TOMORROW, February 16, 2022.

Just a reminder for juniors to turn their sold and unsold calendars along with their money to Bret by next Wednesday, February 23.
There will be JH Knowledge Bowl practice during your lunch hours today. Your teachers will excuse you 5 minutes early to get your lunch tray and report to the media center. Again – students in grades 7-9 are welcome to come!

Win-E-Mac Community Ed will offer Drivers Education Classroom instruction on the following dates: March 7,8,9,10,11,14,15,17,21,22 from 3:15-6:15 P.M. The classes will be held at the Win-E-Mac School. Students are expected to complete 30 hours of required instruction. The cost per student for this class is $60.00 and should be sent in with this registration form by Wednesday, March 2nd. Students who enroll in Drivers Education Classroom must be 15 years old by June 1. This class and the written Driving Exam need to be completed before Behind the Wheel Instruction can take place. An optional parent’s class will be held on Thursday, March 3rd from 6-7:30. Students who show a lack of respect, disruptive behavior, and immaturity in the classroom will be assumed to be too immature to be behind the wheel of a vehicle and will be dismissed from class without a refund.

 

Lunch today will be a sub sandwich, baked chips, pickles, fresh fruit & vegetables, and milk choice. Breakfast on Wednesday will be a muffin, yogurt or cereal, cheese stick or uncrustable, juice, and milk choice. Lunch on Wednesday will be a hot dog on bun, baked beans, baked chips, fresh fruit & vegetables, and milk choice.
