Minnesota author Kevin Lovegreen paid a visit to the Win-E-Mac Kindergarten through fourth grade classes today in the Arts & Event Center. He presented about his book series, “Lucky Luke’s Adventures”, about the writing process (from outlining to publishing) and about all the different people involved in making a book (from the author, the editor, the illustrator, the designer, and the publisher). Because his books all feature hunting or fishing, he also presented all the different “calls” he uses for hunting, plus he shared several stories about his hunting and fishing experiences (though he did not ever share the end of his stories because that would spoil the book)! He also took several questions from the very captive audience! Win-E-Mac Literacy and the American Legion also purchased three copies each of his Lucky Luke’s Adventure series books for the library, which will be catalogued and displayed very soon!
