What: Preschool/Early Childhood Screening is a free and simple check of your child’s growth, development, and learning.
A trained professional will check the following:
- Vision and hearing
- Height and weight
- Immunizations (shots)
- Large and small muscles
- Thinking, language, and communication skills
- Social and emotional development
Who: Preschool/Early Childhood Screening is open to all children, ages three years old and up, who have not been screened. Children must be screened before entering preschool and kindergarten.
Where: Polk County Public Health (Bjella Building) in McIntosh
