Read Across America: February 27-March 3. Wednesday 3/1/23 will be Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast. Tuesday: Top hat Tuesday, wear your favorite hat. Wednesday: Wordy Wednesday. Wear a shirt with words on it. Thursday: Theodore Wednesday, dress like your favorite book character. Friday: Fall asleep Friday, wear pajamas or comfy clothes.
The WEM Box Tops Committee is hosting a movie night on March 3rd starting at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. All ages are welcome. Concession stands will be available before and during the movie. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The movie will be Minions: The Rise of Gru.
All prom attendees must be signed-up and pay attendance fees ahead of time. WEM seniors/juniors are invited to attend the prom. Attendees are expected to wear formal attire if possible. Sophomores and former graduates (under age 21) may attend as a guest of a WEM senior or junior. The cost to attend is $20 each. Return forms (from Mrs. Winter’s room) with payment directly to Mrs. Winter.
Lunch today will be Taco in a bag (lettuce, tomato, sour cream, cheese, salsa, black olives), fresh fruit and vegetables, and milk choice. Breakfast on Friday will be Yogurt parfait or cereal and cheese stick or uncrustable. Lunch on Friday will be Broccoli cheese or chicken noodle soup, egg or tuna salad sandwich and fresh fruit and vegetables, and milk choice.
