Win-E-Mac is making some positive changes for students and parents and reducing the busyness of new-school-year tasks at Open House!
High school and upper elementary device handouts have been moved to the first day of school, and our required forms have been moved online so that students and parents have more time at Open House to meet with their teachers and simply enjoy the night! While the $30 tech fee per student is still required, we encourage parents to not wait until Open House to take care of that. You can pay the tech fee online via Linq Connect, stop by our front office anytime during regular business hours, mail a check, or send payment with your student on the first day.
In addition, there are a few new teachers in the building for introductions, including Mr. Hubred in Science, Ms. Ryba in Art, and Mrs. Engstrom in third grade. All the high school teachers are new to the seventh graders, so Orientation at 4pm gives the seventh graders an opportunity to meet all their teachers. Students have a chance to see friends and classmates, find their locker and grab a hotdog while enjoying the school campus’s backyard with the Win-E-Mac community on a beautiful August summer evening.
