It’s opening night! Disney’s Frozen JR is playing at the Win-E-Mac Arts & Event Center on Friday, April 25th, at 7pm; Saturday, April 26th, at 3pm; and Sunday, April 27th, at 3pm. The 60-minute musical, which includes performers from 6th through 12th grades, is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation. The cast and crew includes nearly 30 students led by director Andrew Hanson and assistant director Shannon Svalen.
A few reminders for this weekend:
- Admission is free will offering (with a suggested donation of $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and students). Admission is at the door. No tickets are being sold in advance.
- This production will not be broadcast on the Garden Valley channel (getting the rights to do that for a Disney musical is something that we just could not do at this time), so please make a plan to come in person this weekend!
- There will be a brief intermission between scenes 6 and 7. The show does not normally feature an intermission, but I knew that a lot of littles would probably come, and I know that it can be hard for them to sit still for that long! There will be goodies and lemonade served during the intermission of each performance, so please enjoy!
