2026 Win-E-Mac School District Spelling Bee

The 2026 Win-E-Mac School District Spelling Bee was held at 8:30 on Tuesday, January 13th in the Arts & Events Center. Fourteen spellers from fifth through eighth grades competed in the Spelling Bee. In the end, Cory Dibblee, a seventh-grader, was the champion and will be competing at the Regional Spelling Bee in Thief River Falls on Wednesday, February 4th.

Taking second place was Grafton Langemo, also from seventh grade. In all, 55 words were used in the competition throughout 7 official rounds (plus a practice round). The championship word was “suspicious”.
