We are aware of the extremely cold temperatures and wind chills forecasted for Thursday and Friday. After reviewing conditions, we plan to have regular school days at our normal start and end times on both days.
Our school buildings and heating systems can safely handle these temperatures. Our bus fleet is also able to operate safely in the cold. We also have minimal students who walk to school.
Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for winter weather. This includes warm coats, hats, gloves, boots, and other cold-weather gear as needed.
If you feel the weather makes it unsafe for your child to attend school, you have the choice to keep them home. Any absences for this reason on these days will be counted as excused.
