Biographical Info
My name is Alyssa Hickman. I am a K-12 Special Education teacher here at Win-E-Mac School. I have been teaching special education at Win-E-Mac School District since 2005. As a 1997 graduate of Win-E-Mac School and a 2001 graduate of Minnesota State University, Moorhead; I am proud to be teaching and be a part of the wonderful educational environment in which I grew up in. My husband Jesse (also a Win-E-Mac alumni) and I live in Erskine, Minnesota. We have three children, Anton in 10th grade, Adylaide in 4th grade; and Ainsley in 1st Grade.
As a teacher, the most important words of advice I can pass on is, believe in your children and READ, READ, READ. Due to the privacy of student data, my lesson plans will not be posted on this website. I will however be posting links to a wealth of educational websites that parents/students can access from home.
