School-Linked Mental Health Services Through Alluma
Alluma (see allumacares.org) providers at Win-E-Mac work with kindergarten students through 12th grade. Some of the individual or group skills that we assist with include:
Conflict Resolution & Peaceful Problem Solving, Anger Management & Healthy Coping Skills, Social Skills & Skills for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Respecting Self & Others, Dealing with Pressures of Growing up, Thinking Before Acting, Attention Deficits and Behavior Supports, Organizational Skills, Self-Esteem, Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Crisis Response & Suicide Screenings and Assessments
Referrals may come from parents, students, teachers, staff, administration, other community or family services, or the Student Assistance Team. Abby Steffan was hired for the 2024-2025 school year as a Social Worker. Win-E-Mac also entered into a partnership with Fosston Public Schools to share their school counselor, Rebecca Hanson.
