School-Linked Mental Health Services Through Alluma
Alluma (see allumacares.org) providers at Win-E-Mac work with kindergarten students through 12th grade. Some of the individual or group skills that we assist with include:
Conflict Resolution & Peaceful Problem Solving, Anger Management & Healthy Coping Skills, Social Skills & Skills for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Respecting Self & Others, Dealing with Pressures of Growing up, Thinking Before Acting, Attention Deficits and Behavior Supports, Organizational Skills, Self-Esteem, Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Crisis Response & Suicide Screenings and Assessments
Referrals may come from parents, students, teachers, staff, administration, other community or family services, or the Student Assistance Team. Biographical Info
My name is Amy Bartz, and I am a family service specialist and mental health professional at Win-E-Mac. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), graduating from the University of North Dakota with my Master in Social Work in 2008. I am contracted with the school due to a collaborative service with Alluma.
Win-E-Mac’s Own Social Worker and School Counselor
Abby Steffan was hired for the 2024-2025 school year as a Social Worker. Win-E-Mac also entered into a partnership with Fosston Public Schools to share their school counselor, Rebecca Hanson.
